Fitness Lust

This is my FITSPIRATION, my time to change my body and become healthy, and I hope others will come along for the ride. I'm doing this blog in order to try and inspire others as well as myself. It's gonna be hard, but I know it will definitely be worth it! I'll be posting pics, workouts, quotes, and of course progress.

I'd love to hear from other people, because honestly it just feels good to know I'm not doing this alone. :-)

Too much cardio decreases metabolism

I just read a great article from Tom Venuto on the hazards of overdoing cardio, especially on too few calories.

He says that slashing calorie intake while adding cardio is even worse than starvation dieting alone. Anybody been there, done that? I think anytime my cardio level has been absurdly high, my appetite and calorie intake have come right up with it, nearly defeating the purpose.
